بلاد الكرج بين الفرس والروم

الملخص:
يتناول هذا البحث العلاقات السياسية بين بلاد الكرج والقوى المحيطة بها من الفرس والروم، وتأرجح السيادة بين القوتين؛ تبعا للظروف السياسية والعسكرية التي تمر بها الدولتين سواء الفارسية أو الرومانية، كما يوضح أثر النزاعات والاتفاقيات المتعددة بين الفرس والروم على تقسيم بلاد الكرج.
ويتناول أيضا علاقة الملك الكرجي فاختانج الأول جورجسلان Vakht’ang Gorgasali بكل من ملوك الفرس والروم، ثم حروبه ضد الفرس وانتقال ولائه للسيادة الرومانية، ثم هزيمته أمام الفرس؛ مما ترتب عليه انقسام أولاده الأمراء من بعده بين الولاء للفرس والروم، وقد نتج عن هذا وجود أسرتين كرجيتين في الحكم هما الخسروية والجوارميد، بالإضافة إلى حروب الإمبراطور هرقل على بلاد الكرج.

Abstract:

This research explores the political relations between Georgia and the surrounding powers of the Persians and Romans, examining the oscillation of sovereignty between the two based on political and military circumstances faced by both the Persian and Roman states. The impact of conflicts and various agreements between the Persians and Romans on the division of the Kartli region is evident.
The study also delves into the relationship of King Georgia Vakht’ang Gorgasali with both the Persian and Roman kings, his wars against the Persians, and his subsequent allegiance shift to Roman rule. The defeat of King Georgia Vakht’ang Gorgasali against the Persians led to the division of his sons' loyalty between the Persians and Romans, resulting in two Georgia dynasties, the Khosrovian and the Guramid.
